Red glazing done (1st layer on background and 2nd layer on jewels). Model’s right arm and breast covered with 2nd (and final) layer of glazing to match skin colour. This process is quite exacting as this is where all the subtleties of the skin’s hue (reddish, yellowish, bluish), highlights and shadows are defined.
